Compact Jog Shuttle Encoder

ROLLING MEADOWS, IL - Noble U.S.A., Inc. announces its new RJS Series dual-shaft, jog shuttle encoder. The "jog shuttle" design allows independant controlling of Incremental and Absolute functions from a single compact, low-profile unit. It is ideal for video and sound editing devices, tuning controls and programming equipment.

The RDS Series' inner shaft (jog part) offers a 360° endless total rotational angle. Its' rotational torque is 0.70 to 10mNm. The spring-loaded outer shaft provides a 160° rotational angle with return-to-center function. It features a rotational torque of 10 to 50mNm. Both shafts have an operating life of 50,000 cycles.

The Noble jog shuttle has a switch rating of 5V DC, 10mA. Its operating temperature range is -20° to 70° C. Its dimensions measure 34mm(L) x 34mm(W) x 7.7mm(H).
